Build Your Bowl
A homepage concept for a build-your-own bowl restaurant — bold editorial layout, decisive red and cream palette, and a content flow built to drive orders.
The concept was inspired by the Chipotle-style bowl format making its way to Belize for the first time. The goal was to communicate freshness, customization, and clear ordering intent — without looking like a generic fast-casual template. Everything had to feel local, confident, and worth visiting.
A first-of-its-kind concept that needed to look the part.
Build-your-own bowl dining was new to Belize. The homepage had to introduce the format, communicate the customization experience, and convince first-time visitors to actually place an order — all on a single page.
Editorial layout with commercial clarity.
Split-screen hero, stacked serif headings in bold red and cream, and a structured content flow: hero intro, taste teaser, step-by-step bowl builder, menu preview, ordering instructions, and catering services. Every section moves the visitor toward an order.
A concept ready to go live.
The demo is production-ready on Squarespace 7.1. Any build-your-own restaurant entering the Belizean market could plug in their menu, photos, and pricing and launch with a site that immediately reads as credible and professional.
The complete concept.
What went into every section.
Every design decision was made to serve one goal: make a first-time visitor understand the concept immediately and feel confident enough to order. Here's what went into each section of the page.
